So what is podiatry?
Podiatry is a specialist allied health service which aims to assess, diagnose and treat conditions affecting the lower limb and foot.
People often ask “what is the difference between chiropody and podiatry?” well the simple answer is none. ‘Podiatry’ is the international term for chiropody and clinicians are aiming to use this term to add some clarity to the profession.
